How to set up IPTV on a MAG box

MAG boxes (MAG 250, 254, 322, 420, 520 and newer) do not use a username and password. They connect through a portal URL that we link to your box’s MAC address.

Before you start

• Your box’s MAC address. It is printed on the sticker under the box (starts with 00:1A:79) and shown in Settings → System settings → Device info.
• Send us that MAC address when you order (write it in the order note) or on live chat, and we will send you the portal URL.

Step 1: Enter the portal URL

1. On the box, go to Settings → System settings → Servers → Portals.
2. In Portal 1 name type IPTVXpert. In Portal 1 URL type the portal URL we sent you, exactly as written.
3. Press OK to save.

Step 2: Restart

1. Go to Settings → System settings → Restart portal, or unplug the power for 10 seconds and plug it back in.
2. The box loads the IPTVXpert portal and shows the channels.

Troubleshooting

• “Portal not found” or a blank screen: check the URL for typos and confirm with us that your MAC address is activated.
• Channels show but will not play: make sure the box’s time zone and date are correct in Settings.
• “Invalid login” or “Unauthorized”: copy the details from your email again, with no spaces before or after. Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive.
• Channels load but freeze: try a wired connection or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, lower the quality in the player, or close other apps that use the internet.
• Channel list is empty: wait a minute and reload. If it stays empty, open the live chat and we will check your line.
